Ice Fishing
Winter has never slowed us down! Ice fishing is peak here at Breezy Point Resort. Stay cozy in your own fish house or rent one from our trusted partners:

Fish houses available 7am-9pm. Most houses have cook top stoves and bathrooms. All houses have rattle reels in them. For specific needs inquire when booking.

Snowmobiling
Rent or bring your own and enjoy the winter scape of Breezy Point Resort. Then come on in and warm up at our various restaurants. We are surrounded by trails and less than 5 miles from the Paul Bunyan Trail!
Horse Drawn Hayrides
Meet at the Front Desk on Saturdays Dec. 13, 2025 – March 14, 2026 between 2-4PM for Horse Drawn Hayrides around the resort! Make sure to get a warm beverage from the Coffee House first (or an adult one from Dockside) for the ultimate experience! Guests ride free!
Sledding
Slide away with charming winter sledding, perfect for families and kids of all ages (even the adult ones!) sleds are available at the activities office. Carry on the tradition with hot cocoa from the coffee shop as the perfect way to spend the afternoon.
Cross-country Skiing & Snowshoeing
Miles of trails keep you going strong for cross country skiing and snowshoeing throughout Breezy Point Resort. Ski and snowshoe rentals available at the activities office.
Downhill Skiing
Can’t get enough snow? Mt. Ski Gull is a short drive away. Enjoy your day there and come back to cozy up at Breezy Point Resort.
Ice Skating
The same lake we love all summer becomes a beloved skating rink all winter. Right outside our iconic Dockside Lounge, step out for a leisurely skate on your own or with the whole family. Ice skates are available at the activities office.
Hockey
What would The Heart of the North be without hockey? We’re proud to have our own indoor ice arena with a bustling season of youth and adult tournaments, as well as our annual Ice Fest and other outdoor pondy-style hockey opportunities.
