Breezy Point Resort was awarded the Minnesota Association of Innkeepers Property of the Year award in the category of over 100 rooms. Accepting the award is the Assistant Manager, Dave Spizzo.
Breezy Point Resort, Breezy Point, MN was awarded the Minnesota Association of Innkeepers (MAI) Property of the Year award in the category of over 100 rooms at their annual convention and award ceremony in Brooklyn Center.
Breezy Point opened its doors in the early 20’s. The first condominiums in Minnesota were built at Breezy Point in the early 60’s. Breezy offers lodging in vacation homes, condos, and hotel type units and was the first resort in Minnesota to build, market and offer a rental pool to individual owners of recreation property. Breezy is also the largest time share resort in Minnesota.
Awards include “Minnesota Family” Favorite Resort for 5 consecutive years, Resort Condominium International Gold Crown Resort and the Best Lakeshore Resort by readers of Minnesota Meeting and Events Magazine.
The Pequot Lakes/Breezy Point Chamber of Commerce nominated Breezy by saying: “Whenever meetings are necessary or social events are to be held, Breezy Point Resort is first in line to accommodate our group.”
