Breezy Point Resort has been the leader in destination weddings for over 90 years. Our goal is to create for you and your guests a special day that is memorable as well as affordable. The professional guidance from our group sales staff will assist you in creating the personalized wedding and reception you have been dreaming about.

Outdoor Ceremony Venues
Two beautiful locations are available for your wedding ceremony. The Point Lawn, overlooking Pelican Lake is a favorite. The Antlers pavilion, surrounded by impressive gardens and overlooking the Whitebirch Golf Course, is an ideal setting.

Both venues include one microphone, two speakers and one portable amplifier. You may bring additional sound equipment. Chairs are available and are set up by 10 AM on the day of your ceremony. Additional rentals are available. Ceremonies on the Point Lawn may start after 4PM and at Antlers may start between 3 and 4PM.

Breezy Belle Paddle Boat
A Breezy Belle 2-hour cruise is a great choice for a wedding ceremony or groom’s dinner. It accommodates up to 100 people and creates an ideal venue on the crystal-clear waters of Pelican Lake.

Rehearsals
The ceremony venue is available for your rehearsal the evening prior to your ceremony.

Reception Rooms

Lakeside Ballroom overlooks beautiful Breezy Bay and accommodate up to 240 guests for dinner.

Whitebirch Room and Minnesota Room are in the Resort’s Conference Center. Each room accommodates up to 400 guests.

Waters Edge room overlooks Breezy Bay and accommodates up to 50 guests. It is ideal for small groom’s dinners and receptions.

All three rooms feature a dance floor and can be furnished with stage sections for an elevated head table.

Palmers Grill is at the famous Deacon’s Lodge Championship Golf Course and accommodates up to 30 guests. This venue is also ideal for small groom’s dinners and receptions and is available after 7PM.

Room Set Up

Included in reception rooms are white linens, white cloth napkins, table settings and all necessary tables for your reception. Stage sections and steps are complimentary. Your reception room is available by 8AM on the day of your reception and until 1AM the following morning.

Decorating

Decorations, other than those provided by the Resort, are the responsibility of the wedding party and must be removed by 9AM the following day. Your groups sales manager can provide details about limitations on the type of decorations.

Food Tasting

Breezy Point Resort is happy host complimentary food tastings for up to 3 entrees. Please contact your Group Sales Manager to schedule an appointment.

Lodging & Room Blocks

The wedding couple receives a complimentary King Executive Suite for 2 nights. Breezy Point Resort will hold 10 rooms per 100 guests. There is a two-night minimum in all units June-September. The room block will be released 60 days prior to your wedding. Guests can book online at www.breezypointresort.com and click on ONLINE reservations. Your group sales manager will provide you with a group number. Guests may still call after the cutoff date; lodging is based on availability.
There is a 30-day cancelation policy for hotel rooms and suites; a 90-day cancelation policy for two-bedroom units or larger. If units are cancelled within the 30/90 days the deposit will be forfeited. If cancelled prior to the 30/90 days, Breezy Point Resort will retain a $25 handling fee and refund the remainder of the deposit.

Check-in time is 5:00PM, check out time is 12:00PM.Vendors

Your group sales manager will provide to you a list of local vendors that you are welcome to use. You are not limited to the vendors on this list.

Transportation

Breezy Point Resort offers complimentary shuttle service for all lodging guests. The shuttle service is limited to Breezy Point Resort facilities only. If you desire specific drop off and pick up times, or service to/from properties other than the Resort’s, your group sales manager will provide recommendations.

Policies

Deposits/Cancellations

Breezy Point Resort requires a 50% deposit based on the estimated cost of your ceremony and reception, according to the estimated invoice your group sales manager prepared for you. Your deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE and is required at the time of booking your event. This deposit amount is applied toward the final bill. Prepayment of your entire function, based on your guarantee, is due 10 days prior to your event. Any additional charges over and above your guarantees will be due at the conclusion of the event.

Food and Beverage Guarantee

You must notify your group sales manager of the exact number of guests attending your wedding 14 days before the event. This will be considered a guarantee, which will be the number of meals prepared and tables and chairs set up, and for which you will be charged. We will prepare only for this number. If the number of people exceeds the guarantee, an alternate meal choice will be offered, but a time delay should be expected. 

MN Department of Health regulations prohibit any food served but not consumed from leaving Breezy Point Resort property. No food or beverage, of any kind is allowed to be brought into any contracted space with the exception of the wedding cake/dessert.

Bar Service

One full bar per 100 people is provided however additional bars are available. Last call is 12:30AM. At your direction, bar service options include cash bar, drink tickets, host bar, keg only, etc. Also available is a cocktail reception on the canopy deck, after the ceremony/before the dinner. See your group sales manager for availability. All bar charges are subject to a 20% service charge and MN liquor tax.
